This red iron tetsubin dates from around mid 1900's. The workmanship is excellent and the lid is signed by the artist.
Inside the rusting is slight, an indication that it has been cared for in the past. It has been recently cleaned and not much mineral patina remains inside.
The water pour is smooth and precise.
The lid is topped by a silver knob.
This is really a beautiful tetsubin & makes very good water.
