These sheng puerh bings have been stored in Hong Kong for most of their years, resulting in some frosting of white on the leaves and a mellow humidly stored taste. The flavour of the storage weakens after the first few infusions and the smooth flavour of the strong leaves comes through with plenty of energy and a camphor flavour. The tea itself is good, and continues for many infusions with a sweet flavour and just enough bite to make it interesting. This makes a good everyday day, without the refinement of some other cakes, but at a price that allows for casual drinking.

Interested Pu Review by Taylor
I'm new to pu-erh teas and asked a trusted source for some pu-erhs to try. He recommended three different EoT teas and this happened to be one of them.
I began by smelling the tea. First impressions: musty, compost and the smell of rain on concrete (one of my favorite smells). It seems this tea was stored with quite a bit of wetness/humidity. The brew was a dark red color, as would be expected. As for the taste, very much as it smelled. Interesting comment by Ziga regarding airing the tea out. I could see myself trying that if I bought a whole bing. Interesting tea that I could see myself buying more of. Thanks EoT! (Posted on 25/09/2011) -
Wet stored, but good Review by Žiga
This tea is a little bit to wet stored for my taste buds, but I have bought 1 cake, break it apart and let it air for almost 1 year till now. The tea have lost most of the wet storage taste and became a nice tea to drink for the price. It is a good choice for people who like a little wet storage taste or for anybody who will age or air it for a few more years. (Posted on 28/08/2011)

great value Review by David
I think is a good value tea for those who don't mind a little humidity in their tea or to put up for a few years to let the storage fade. When brewed properly this tea is quite good and you can easily get 20 infusions out of it, with very little storage taste From infusion six or seven on. (Posted on 25/08/2011)
