Puerh Tea

Puerh tea (Puer, Pu-erh) is a special type of tea from Yunnan Provice, China, which transforms naturally as it ages. Given the right mix of natural heat and humidity, natural microbes ferment the puerh leaves, transforming the freshness of a young puerh tea into the deep, earth flavours loved by conoisseurs and fans of this special tea.
We are one of only a handful of tea houses in the western world specialising in the complex and wonderful world of aged Puerh tea. Our teas are all authentic, well stored and available to purchase by the gram. We also press our own custom puerh tea cakes each year, from the leaves of ancient trees growing wild in the mountains of Yunnan.
