This fully handmade rock oolong is the pinnacle of Master Huang's yearly productions, and very limited in quantity. It is harvested from bushes grown from cuttings taken from the original Da Hong Pao trees and grown in Bei Dou Peak within the Wuyi Scenic Reserve.
The leaves have been given a medium oxidation, finishing with med/strong charcoal roast. The tea is med-thick in the mouth, very smooth mouthfeel & very pleasant qi.
The flavour is refined, leaving a long, sweet aftertaste.

Fruity, balanced and calming Review by Andrew
The aroma is mild and subdued with coffee and nuts. The taste is medium-high in thickness and initially follows the aroma, with a similar roasted character, but the aftertaste is much more fruity: there is a deep raisin flavour which is very well balanced by a very cool, minty quality in the aftertaste that combines with a slight astringency around the sides of the mouth. The qi is quite mild at first but evolves to be medium-strong with more infusions. It is very calming, deep and subdued rather than being forceful. (Posted on 04/02/2012)
