This half-handmade tea is made from the same trees and by the same farmer as our 2011 Nantou Green Tea. It is MOA certified organic in Taiwan.
The leaves are handpicked in late Spring, then tumbled in a drum to halt the oxidisation (kill green). The leaves are then given a preliminary roll by hand and finished by machine. Finally, they're given a medium roast by machine.
The flavour is very pure and smooth in the mouth and throat, with a long huigan and medium medium thick in the mouth.

This is what I would class as a good everyday Oolong , perfect for the cooler weather . It is smooth and pure with some lovely floral and citrus notes , under pinned with some very nice honey and caramel flavours and a thick creamy finish and mouth feel . YUM !!! (Posted on 28/12/2011)
