We've been exploring some aged Liu Bao's recently. While there are many terrible examples of this type of tea, there are some that are spectacular. The 1950's Pu Tian Gong Qing is one such example. Coming in close behind, this 1960's LLLL367 is another excellent example. Stored in Malaysia since the 1960's this is a high grade Liu Bao, full of buds and tips.
The taste is very smooth, thick and rich. It is exceptionally complex and evolves well throughout the infusions. The qi is powerful, refined and calming.
This tea can be found on page 13&14 of the book Lao Liu bao Tu published by Chop Xiang Xing, Malaysia
